Say It
Again
Find what's worth saying. And say it again. Get known for the work you do, not how well you can hack an algorithm for views.
A small, self-published zine about how small businesses can gain momentum with content marketing without feeling like an unpaid intern working for the platforms. Questioning which popular content advice is worth your time and energy. Put together within the gaps between a day job and school pickup, so every idea has been tested within the capacity of a real, full life.
Is social media worth the effort for a small business? (placeholder, coming soon)
Fourteen months, 118 followers, and a diagnostic built and never sent. What "worth it" would actually have to mean, worked out by someone who is counting.
Where this zine is headed
How the heck does everyone else seem to keep up with this?
When you're running your own marketing, you find yourself asking that over and over again.
First, they don't. You're only seeing the people who have confidently cut out the noise of conflicting advice and are building the right creative content strategy that works for them.
Helping you build your own filter for clickbait nonsense, and getting confident in choosing where you put your time and energy for your own benefit, is what we aim to do here.
Your first step

From the Chief Context Officer
I love creative content and have next to no spare time, so I get creative with knowledge, tools and decisions instead. Trying to fit myself into other people's blueprints of what works failed me miserably.
So I'm doing it at my real size, with my real hours, where anyone can watch. Some of you can get on.
